Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer in Phoenix, AZ, with a hybrid work schedule. Initial 90 days onsite required. You will design, develop and implement advanced systems including hardware, software, and network components, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

You will lead requirements capture, model-based design, and system verification while supporting audits and certification activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics).
• 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience, ideally in avionics/aerospace/related fields.
• Proficiency in system-level analysis and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EGPWS solutions meeting performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, software and test engineering for integration.
• Author high-level systems requirements in DOORS.
• Conduct system-level analysis and optimization.
• Systems integration, validation and verification.
• Model-based systems design and development.
• Capture and manage system requirements with stakeholders.
• Ensure specifications meet safety, performance and compliance.
