Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Advanced Project Engineer to lead complex aerospace projects and drive innovation. The role reports to the Sr Systems Engineering Manager and operates from Tempe or Tucson with a hybrid schedule; initial 90 days onsite is required.

Responsibilities include NPDS-based phase gates, SOW development, cost estimation, and IMS tracking. Strong communication with leadership and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer technical requirements management using formal tracking systems (DOORS, PTS, Clearcase).
• 5+ years developing CPCS / ECS aerospace systems.
• SME in aircraft integration and certification.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Project Planning & Management using MS Project, SAP, WBS and EVMS.
• Engineering Development Leadership of projects through full lifecycle (IPDS).
• SOW development for engineering teams, vendors and stakeholders.
• Program review support with status reports and executive presentations.
• IMS management with schedule and cost performance metrics.
