Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced avionics systems including hardware, software and networks. You will collaborate with diverse teams and report to the Sr Engineering Manager on a hybrid schedule, with 90 days onsite initially.

Responsibilities include leading safety- and performance-focused system analysis, requirements capture, and model-based development while guiding validation, certification, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering, ideally in avionics or aerospace.
• Proficiency in system-level analysis and optimization.
• Relocation support may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Author high-level systems requirements in DOORS.
• Conduct system-level analysis and optimization.
• Systems integration, validation and verification.
• Model-based systems design and development.
• Capture and manage system requirements with stakeholders.
• Ensure system specs meet safety, performance and compliance.
