Job summary

RTX Corporation in Massachusetts seeks an electrical engineer to design and test microwave components, boards and systems, including AESA architectures. This onsite role will be based in Andover, Tewksbury, or Marlborough, MA, with assignments decided by program needs. You will lead design and hands-on testing, work with RF/microwave analysis tools, and contribute to production support.

Qualifications

Degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience or Advanced Degree with 3+ years experience.
Experience in Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test.
Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Genesys and Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition Cadence Virtuso, and Matlab.
Experience performing basic RF calculations and Cascaded Analysis.

Responsibilities

Design RF microwave components and phased array applications.
Develop insights in RF/Microwave field for new concepts, theories and products.
Design and/or test MMIC or module products and test fixtures at RF/microwave frequencies.
Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware.
Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required.
