RTX is seeking an electrical engineer to apply RF design theory and test AESAs, CCAs, and related microwave subsystems at onsite MA locations including Andover, Tewksbury, or Marlborough. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, design of MMIC components, and collaboration with production teams.

Candidates should have a STEM degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of HFSS/ADS/CST and Matlab, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience in Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test.
• Experience with an electromagnetic simulation tool such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Genesys and Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition Cadence Virtuso, and an analytical tool such as Matlab.
• Experience performing basic RF calculations and Cascaded Analysis.

Aufgaben

• Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications
• Develop insights that extend your knowledge in the RF/Microwave field and form the basis of new concepts, theories, and products.
• Design and/or test MMIC or module products and test fixtures at RF/microwave frequencies
• Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware
• Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required.
