Job summary

RTX in Tucson is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to design transmitters, receivers, and exciters for DoD programs. You will craft CCAs, perform lab characterization, and verify modules while coordinating with power, digital, and mechanical teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in STEM and 10+ years of RF experience, with a path to obtain interim security clearance. Onsite role with relocation options and comprehensive RTX benefits.

Qualifications

• RF design and fabrication experience.
• RF test and troubleshoot capability.
• Simulation of RF products.
• Experience with Mentor DX Designer.
• HFSS or equivalent simulation tools.
• SystemVue/Genesys or equivalent
• ADS or equivalent
• Ability to obtain interim security clearance before start.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design CCAs with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical teams.
