Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design and develop transmitters, receivers or exciters for DoD programs. The role involves CCA design, lab characterization, testing RF hardware, and close collaboration with power, digital, and mechanical teams in Tucson, AZ.

A STEM bachelor’s and 8+ years of RF experience are required, with security clearance eligibility. The team works onsite in Tucson, offering formal growth opportunities and exposure to advanced RF technologies, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and 8+ years of RF experience.
• Experience with RF design and fabrication.
• Experience with RF testing & troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF product simulation.
• Familiar with Mentor DX, HFSS, SystemVue/ Genesys, ADS.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams - power, digital, mechanical, etc.
