Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design transmitters, receivers, or exciters for advanced military programs. You will work in a lab, perform component characterization, schematic capture, and RF routing, partnering with power, digital and mechanical teams on challenging environments.

A Bachelor's in STEM and at least five years of RF design and fabrication experience are required, along with RF testing, HFSS/SystemVue/ADS tools, and the ability to obtain interim DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of RF design experience.
• Experience with RF testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF product simulation and related tools (HFSS/SystemVue/ADS).

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF/mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification/integration.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams—power, digital, mechanical.
