Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, onsite, is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to design and test RF hardware for DoD programs. The role entails developing transmitters, receivers, and exciters, designing CCAs, and verifying modules in lab environments.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams to meet strict environmental and performance requirements. Required is a STEM bachelor’s with extensive RF experience and the ability to obtain interim DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and 8+ years of relevant RF design experience.
• Experience with RF design, testing, and RF product simulation.
• Ability to obtain interim DoD security clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design CCAs with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification/integration.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical teams.
