Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior engineer for the Effector RF Design Antenna & Radome team in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on leading antenna and radome hardware design, guiding interdisciplinary teams, and coordinating with suppliers to meet performance requirements.

You will analyze both simulations and measurement data, influence technology roadmaps, and mentor staff while ensuring program success and compliance with security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) plus 10+ years of experience or Advanced Degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience leading antenna/radome designs through concept to qualification.
• Experience with antenna/radome simulation and modeling tools (HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, PMM, GRASP).
• Experience with near/far field measurements and obtaining security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and detailed design of antenna or radome hardware and requirements.
• Collaborate with thermal, structural, mechanical, and systems teams.
• Coordinate with antenna/radome manufacturing suppliers.
• Analyze simulation and test data to verify performance against requirements.
