Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics, a tech-enabled pediatric medical group, seeks a Manager, Revenue Cycle Operations to lead billing and coding teams across markets, ensuring high quality, timely processing and compliance. The role partners with Revenue Integrity, Analytics, Compliance and Credentialing, driving improvements and people leadership as the company scales.

The position requires 3+ years in people leadership and strong CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS knowledge, with experience in Athenahealth or similar

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, payer edits, and coding compliance principles.
• Experience with managing coding operations: productivity, quality, turnaround time, denials.
• Strong communication and relationship-management across clinical, operational, technical and compliance teams.
• Experience with an EHR/practice management platform preferred (Athenahealth).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day billing and coding operations across markets, payers, service lines, and payment models.
• Monitor coding queues, billing worklists, claim submissions, denials, and backlog; plan staffing for service levels.
• Escalate complex issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution with Revenue Integrity, Compliance and other teams.
• Coach and develop Billing and Coding Supervisors and teams with clear performance expectations.
• Establish regular management cadence and translate goals into KPIs and execution plans.
