Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics is seeking a Manager, Revenue Cycle Operations to lead billing and coding across markets, guiding Supervisors and frontline teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance. You will apply deep CPT/ICD-10-CM knowledge, manage escalations, and partner with Compliance and Revenue Integrity as the company scales.

The role emphasizes coaching leaders, workforce planning, and driving continuous improvement in a pediatric, value-based environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive Revenue Cycle experience.
• Substantial coding and billing operations experience required.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience, including managing supervisors or frontline leaders.
• Certified Professional Coder (AAPC or AHIMA) required; CPPM, CPCO, or CHFP preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, documentation requirements, payer edits, and coding compliance principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day billing and coding operations across multiple markets, payers, service lines, and payment models with direct management oversight of Supervisors.
• Monitor coding queues, billing worklists, claim submissions, denials, rejections, and backlogs; plan staffing to meet service levels.
• Serve as a technical resource on CPT/ICD-10-CM, payer edits, and coding compliance for complex issues.
• Escalate complex billing/coding issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
• Partner with Revenue Integrity and Compliance on audits and policy interpretation; ensure new workflows meet payer requirements.
• Maintain and improve Revenue Cycle workflows, SOPs, and controls for scalability.
• Coach and develop frontline leaders; build supervisory capability and succession readiness.
