Job summary

Senior Director, Revenue Cycle Management is sought to lead end-to-end revenue operations for a growing pediatric mental health provider in the United States. The role oversees billing, collections, AR, denials, credentialing, and payer enrollment, partnering with Finance and executive leadership to improve cash flow and implement scalable processes.

Candidate will optimize EHR/PM systems, manage external vendors, and drive performance metrics while ensuring HIPAA compliance across multi-site

Qualifications

• 8+ years in healthcare revenue cycle management with leadership experience.
• Direct experience with delegated credentialing and multi-state payer enrollment.
• Proven track record of improving cash collections and reducing denial rates.
• Extensive experience with major EHR/PM platforms (AthenaHealth, Epic, eClinicalWorks).
• Experience supporting multi-site, multi-state organizations undergoing rapid growth or change.
• Strong understanding of billing, claims, payer workflows, and revenue integrity.
• Vendor management of external RCM vendors and SLAs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; root-cause analysis.
• Executive-level communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to develop scalable operating models and lead through change.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define revenue cycle strategy, operating model, and performance indicators.
• Oversee billing, collections, AR management, denial prevention, and credentialing.
• Reduce denials, shorten AR aging, and strengthen revenue integrity.
• Lead multi-state provider enrollment and delegated credentialing processes.
• Manage payer relationships and reimbursement strategies.
• Collaborate on forecasting, financial analysis, and reimbursement outcomes.
• Optimize EHR/PM systems and automation opportunities.
• Manage external vendors and SLAs with clear accountability.
• Build and scale a high-performing RCM organization.
• Identify bottlenecks and root causes to prevent revenue losses.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
