Job summary

Symbotic seeks a Senior Manager, Project Management to lead the Project Execution Group and own the full portfolio of core projects across customer sites. You will ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery of live system modifications and upgrades, including the development of repeatable retrofit playbooks.

You will build and develop the team, manage executive-level customer relationships, and establish controls that drive measurable value for clients and the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 8+ years of project or program management experience in industrial/technical environments.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Ownership of schedules, budgets, forecasting, and cost performance.
• Experience managing a portfolio of concurrent projects.
• Technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience managing executive-level customer relationships, escalations, and change control.
• Proficiency with project/enterprise systems such as Smartsheet, SAP, or comparable tools.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent credential preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of core projects end to end across existing customers.
• Lead, develop, and manage the performance of Project Managers responsible for the portfolio.
• Serve as customer relationship owner for project execution and escalation point for issues.
• Maintain cost-control across the portfolio including budgets and stage-gate discipline.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to align scope, schedules, resources, costs, execution.
• Establish and improve project delivery playbooks, safety practices, and controls.
• Define ownership and coordination with regional execution teams for large-scale projects.
