Job summary

Symbotic LLC is seeking a Project Manager for External Manufacturing & Retrofit Programs. You will lead end-to-end manufacturing and retrofit initiatives with contract manufacturers, driving schedules, risks, and governance across multiple workstreams.

This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, 5+ years in program/project management within manufacturing, and experience with external suppliers. Travel up to 10-15% is possible as projects span client locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of Program or Project Management experience in manufacturing, automation, robotics, or related industries.
Experience with Contract Manufacturers and external suppliers; understand production operations.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end execution of manufacturing and retrofit programs across Contract Manufacturing partners, from initiation through completion.
Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules, milestones, and deliverables; drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, and Asset Management.
Coordinate manufacturing readiness and production ramp activities; monitor KPIs, schedule adherence, and contractor execution against objectives.
Identify program risks, constraints, and dependencies; maintain RAID logs and develop mitigation plans.
Create and maintain executive dashboards, status reports, and steering committee materials; communicate health and risks to senior leadership.
Develop scalable program management processes and governance frameworks; capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing programs.
