Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in California seeks a Senior Retirement Specialist to drive education and service for plan participants, develop and retain relationships, and identify new small cases.

You will collaborate with the Program Director and field teams, travel in-territory, and may work from home. A FINRA Series 6 and life/health licenses are required, with Series 63/65 sometimes needed; three years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in related field, insurance, business or marketing preferred.
• FINRA Series 6 license and life/health licenses required; Series 63/65 may be necessary.
• Three years of related experience in financial, sales or educational services functions.
• Strong sales, communication and presentation skills; ability to manage a territory and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and conducts seminars for participants within an assigned territory.
• Support Program Director in territory planning and team development activities.
• Provide counseling on features and benefits of defined contribution plans to drive sales growth.
