Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking an Internal Retirement Specialist to educate participants on retirement plans, provide tailored guidance, and collaborate with Retirement Specialists and Program Directors. The role requires FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 licenses and Life/Health license, with a hybrid in-office/remote work arrangement.

The position focuses on educating participants, projecting retirement outcomes, and advising on plan changes to support company sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 licenses; Life/Health license required.
• Minimum two years in a relationship/sales role; financial services experience preferred.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities for seminars and client education.
• Knowledge of defined contribution retirement plans and investment options.

Responsibilities

• Educate participants about their retirement plan and provide guidance.
• Encourage deferrals and discuss contribution levels with targeted participants.
• Perform account reviews and advise on asset allocation.
• Provide retirement projections and counseling on distributions or consolidations.
• Build relationships with field Retirement Specialists and Program Directors.
• Offer retirement plan expertise and practice management advice to field teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
