Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Program Delivery Director for Retail, owning delivery across order engineering, planning and forecasting, pricing, and sourcing. You will be the senior technical and delivery contact for client leadership and sponsors, shaping roadmap discussions with merchandising domain insight.

You will drive agile delivery across multiple teams, coordinate onshore/offshore resources, and lead incident management and governance forums to ensure quality and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising domain experience in ordering, forecasting, pricing, and sourcing.
• Software engineering background with leadership in large delivery organizations.
• Experience leading 100+ engineers across onsite-offshore models.
• Overseeing engagements and transitions for large Agile software projects.
• Able to engage client technical leaders and drive design decisions.
• Experience with cloud-native and data-driven systems and setting priorities.
• Deep experience running agile delivery at scale with multi-team releases.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Experience running run and build portfolios with SLA-governed apps.
• Incident management and escalation handling.
• Forecasting, staffing mix, and cost management awareness.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across application support, enhancements, and new development.
• Serve as senior delivery and technical contact for client leadership and sponsors.
• Bring merchandising domain judgment to prioritization and roadmap decisions.
• Partner with client architects on platform modernization and technical debt reduction.
• Drive agile delivery across multiple scrum teams and releases.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and service quality targets.
• Lead major incident management and permanent fix ownership.
• Run governance forums including sprint reviews and business reviews.
• Coordinate onsite and offshore teams across time zones.
• Track delivery metrics, resource utilization, and productivity.
• Identify automation opportunities and process optimization.
• Support account growth through demand forecasting and capacity planning.
• Staffing and skills development with the in-team people manager.
