Job summary

Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is a leading retail general contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team.

The role involves leading on-site activities across California and the western United States, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed on time, with safety and quality in mind. You will manage a diverse team, travel extensively, and drive projects from kickoff to completion, often with large-scale budgets and tight schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role required.
• 3+ years experience in retail/hospitality/fuel stations/open store remodels within last 5 years.
• Proficient in math including take-offs and square footage calculations.
• Able to read construction documents and understand construction methods.
• Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Word; ProCore is a plus.
• Must have CA Driver’s License, good driving history, and able to pass a background check.
• OSHA 10 and CPR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site supervision of construction activities and field personnel (up to ~140 daily).
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedule meetings, and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Read plans, inspect progress, and document using ProCore.
• Prepare RFIs and respond to changes; manage project scope and budgets.
