Eleven Western Builders is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead a team of subcontractors and company personnel from project initiation to completion. The role focuses on delivering quality workmanship on retail construction projects across California and the western United States.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a superintendent role, extensive experience in retail/remodel projects, and strong organizational and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role in construction (retail, hospitality, fuel stations)
• 3+ years building/remodeling in retail/hospitality/fuel stations/open store remodels
• Proficient in math: take-off, area calculations, quantities
• Able to read construction documents and understand construction methods
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with ProCore is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontractors and Eleven Western Builders personnel from start to finish, delivering on time and within budget
• Use ProCore to document progress and send daily reports to the Project Team
• Read job plans at least twice daily and inspect progress with Sub-Contractors
• Conduct daily meetings with retail clients, EWB team and inspectors
• Coordinate site construction activities and supervise field personnel (up to ~140 per day)
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations on all projects
• Willingness to travel extensively within California and other project locations
