Job summary
Eleven Western Builders is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish on retail construction projects. The role emphasizes precision, thoroughness, and on-budget delivery with strong leadership presence.
You will manage job plans, coordinate site activities, and communicate with clients and inspectors. The position requires extensive travel across California, with flexibility for varied schedules and hands-on supervision to ensure safety
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a Superintendent role required.
- 3+ years experience building/remodeling in retail, hospitality, fuel stations, open store remodels, fast food; in last 5 years.
- Proficient in math and take-off calculations.
- Able to read construction documents and use MS Office suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively across California and beyond; overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of subcontractors and EWB personnel from start to finish with on-schedule delivery and budget adherence.
- Read plans 2x daily and inspect progress on site walks to coordinate with subcontractors.
- Conduct daily meetings with retail clients, EWB team and inspectors.
- Document progress using ProCore and send daily reports to Project Team.
- Ensure safety standards and quality craftsmanship on all projects.
