Job summary

Volarify in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Restoration Manager to lead field restoration personnel, review and approve time entries, and oversee large-loss projects.

You will coordinate projects across residential to institutional clients, manage staff, ensure safety, and maintain budgets while communicating with customers and insurers.

This role requires 5+ years of managerial experience in restoration or related fields, a related degree, and proficiency with restoration software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in restoration or related industry.
• Strong urgency, professional demeanor, and work ethic.
• Proficiency with restoration management software.
• Ability to identify hazardous materials and safety processes.
• Experience managing projects up to $500,000 individually.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, employees, and insurance companies.
• Coordinate and manage multiple restoration projects of varying complexity.
• Provide technical explanations to clients, adjusters, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Meet with estimators and project managers to ensure accuracy and communication.
• Visit job sites and ensure quality standards are met.
• Schedule daily work orders for restoration and rebuild projects.
• Oversee moisture mapping and after-hours emergency services.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with operations teams to promote customer satisfaction and growth.
• Attend safety training and perform other duties as assigned.
