Job summary

Volarify in Linthicum Heights, MD is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate restoration estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will meet with clients, develop competitive estimates using Xactimate, and oversee projects through completion while tracking budgets.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficient with Xactimate estimating software.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources (insurance adjusters, managers, vendors).
• Create accurate floor plans using Xactimate Sketch.
• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, change orders, and revisions.
• Maintain knowledge of local building codes.
• Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Review invoices and labor costs for monthly costing.
• Communicate project progress to clients and management.
