Job summary

Bon Secours Health System in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to provide comprehensive respiratory care, including ventilator management and patient education, across day and evening shifts. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapies, while supporting staff and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy or related field, active state licensure, NBRC credentials, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state.
• NBRC credentialed.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• EPIC EHR training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen delivery and ventilator care.
• Serve as shift Charge Therapist to ensure staffing.
• Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy assistance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust therapies accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and devices.
