Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II at Simpsonville Medical Center. The role focuses on comprehensive care, patient assessment, and education across respiratory therapies.

Your responsibilities include monitoring patient responses, assisting physicians, providing ventilation support, and ensuring high standards of care. This position requires active licensure and stringent safety practices.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state.
• NBRC credentialed (required).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required).
• NRP/CPFT/RPFT/ACCS credentials preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (required for Home Care/DME).

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed.
• Serve as Charge Therapist to ensure staffing and coverage.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as bronchoscopy and intubation when applicable.
• Perform CPR and airway management per ACLS protocol.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and devices.
