Bon Secours is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner III at Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center to provide comprehensive respiratory care across ICU, general care, and outpatient services. The role emphasizes patient assessment, intervention, and education, with leadership duties as Charge Therapist and mentor to staff.

You will participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with licensure requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or five years CRT; demonstrated clinical competency in two ICU, NICU, ED or general care areas.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state they are working (required)
• NBRC credentialed (required)

Aufgaben

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
• Lead clinical rounds and mentor staff; provide clinical leadership for respiratory practice.
• Serve as Charge Therapist ensuring staffing coverage for patient care areas.
• Administer respiratory therapies, monitor patient responses and document results.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as assigned.
