Job summary

Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner III at St. Rita's Medical Center to deliver comprehensive respiratory care across assessment, planning, intervention and education.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or five years CRT; and demonstrated clinical competency in at least two environments.
• NBRC credentialed (required).
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state they are working (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
• Act as shift Charge Therapist, ensuring staffing coverage and delegation.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical research as needed.
• Mentor students and new staff, provide in-service training.
• Operate ventilators and perform related procedures per physician orders.
