Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner III at St. Rita's Medical Center to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, assess patients, plan interventions and educate patients and staff.

This role includes oxygen therapy, ventilator care, bronchodilator therapy and diagnostic support. The position requires licensure, NBRC credentialing, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least two years as an RRT or five years CRT with competency in ICU/ED settings.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of employment.
• NBRC credentialed (required).
• Two years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or five years CRT with competency across ICU/ED/general care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilator care and diagnosis.
• Lead clinical rounds, mentor staff and participate in quality initiatives.
• Ensure proper staffing and assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy when needed.
• Document care and monitor patient response to therapies.
