Job summary

Mercy Health in Lorain, OH is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner III to provide comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, planning, intervention, education, and evaluation. You’ll monitor patient responses and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Two years of experience required; NBRC credentialing and state license required; leadership responsibilities and mentorship; shift options include days/nights with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional (required)
• NBRC credentialed (required)
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Care License in the state of work (required)
• CPFT/RPFT and other certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Monitor patient response to therapies and adjust plans as needed.
• Serve as shift leader/preceptor and support staff during care delivery.
• Document care activities and maintain charting as required.
