Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, assess patient needs, and educate patients and families on therapies. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to respiratory care or healthcare administration preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen, ventilator care, and Aerosolized therapies as prescribed.
• Serve as shift Charge Therapist to ensure appropriate staffing and coverage.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and goals.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and supplies.
