Job summary

Pyramid South Seas on Captiva Island, Florida seeks an experienced Engineer III to join the Engineering team. You will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems to ensure optimal guest comfort and safety.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, at least 5 years in building maintenance, and experience with preventive maintenance and CMMS. A high standard of safety and teamwork is essential in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities engineering.
Experience with preventative maintenance and CMMS/work order systems.
Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
HS diploma; some college preferred; hotel/resort experience preferred.
EPA 608 certification preferred

Responsibilities

Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of resort facilities and guest areas.
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Inspect and repair HVAC systems and related equipment.
Carry out electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs as needed.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and work orders.
Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
Ensure safety procedures and resort standards are followed.
