Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's South Seas resort on Captiva Island, Florida, is seeking a Facilities Engineering Manager to oversee front-of-house operations, building systems, and preventive maintenance, ensuring guest comfort and energy efficiency.

You will lead a team of engineers, coordinate with departments, manage safety and compliance, develop maintenance plans, and deliver cost-effective improvements across 330 acres.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical trades.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in hospitality with supervisory duties.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to inspect across large resort properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of the resort's physical structures and all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure timely completion of routine and preventive maintenance across guest areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Lead, train, and supervise Engineering staff; manage safety, compliance and energy programs.
• Coordinate with departments and manage budgets, bids and contractor work.
• Prepare reports and participate in capital projects and property rehabilitations.
