Job summary

South Seas is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer II to join our Engineering team at a premier Florida resort. You will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and pool systems, ensuring safe and welcoming guest environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience in hospitality, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Experience in hotel/resort maintenance.
• Experience with pool maintenance and water chemistry preferred.
• CPO certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building and facilities: mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform electrical repairs on appliances, wiring, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, doors, windows, and other finishes; basic carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance on resort facilities and pool systems; monitor water chemistry.
