Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality’s South Seas resort on Captiva Island seeks an experienced Engineer III to lead maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces. You will diagnose, repair, and prevent problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems while ensuring safety and high service standards.

The role requires hands‑on leadership and a proactive approach to facilities management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and issue diagnosis.
• Ability to read manuals and equipment specs; Safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of resort facilities and guest areas.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Inspect and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning and ventilation.
• Execute electrical repairs and maintain building electrical components.
• Carry out plumbing maintenance on fixtures, water lines, and drains.
• Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs as needed.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and update work orders.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Guide less-experienced team members and maintain clean, safe work spaces.
