Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team and oversee repairs to preserve property condition and curb appeal. You will drive the make-ready process for timely move-ins and manage building systems performance.

The role requires skilled trades knowledge across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry, plus experience supervising residential staff and coordinating with contractors. Expect a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry knowledge.
• Previous experience supervising staff on a residential property.
• Extensive knowledge of residential building systems ( boilers, chillers, etc.).
• CFC Type II certification required or preferred.
• Proficient with maintenance programs and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and proof-reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with on-site team to manage maintenance staff and repairs.
• Manage make-ready process for move-ins.
• Initiate and oversee maintenance projects to improve curb appeal and building systems.
• Develop scopes of work and bid from qualified contractors.
• Manage expenses, budgeting, and vendor relationships.
• Direct maintenance team of 2–3 and plan training opportunities.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance and ensure documentation.
• Adhere to housing rules and provide strong customer service.
