Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join the on-site team. You will manage repairs, upkeep, make-ready units, and oversee maintenance projects to improve curb appeal and building systems.

The role requires experience in residential property maintenance, strong plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry skills, and the ability to supervise others. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected; on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Must read/write English fluently and perform basic math.
• Strong knowledge of residential building systems including boilers, chillers, towers.
• Experience supervising others and coordinating vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance repairs and upkeep of the property.
• Oversee make-ready process for timely move-ins.
• Initiate and supervise improvement projects to boost curb appeal.
• Develop scopes of work and bid with qualified contractors.
• Control expenses and participate in budgeting and pricing.
• Cultivate relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing.
• Direct daily maintenance team activities and training.
• Lead Preventative Maintenance program and documentation.
• Adhere to local, state and federal housing rules.
• Foster customer service excellence and high-quality work.
• Work on-call and overtime as needed.
