Job summary

Lennar in Texas is seeking a Sr Construction Manager to supervise residential construction across assigned communities. You will mentor Assistant Construction Managers and Construction Managers, ensuring they follow company policies and drive progress.

Plan all construction activities from pre-construction through final completion, coordinate with trade partners, and enforce safety, codes, and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; College Degree in related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in project/construction management in residential construction.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced scheduling, budgeting, and document management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the job site and supervise daily trade partner activities in line with schedules.
• Plan all construction activities from start to finish, including pre-construction meetings.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain site cleanliness and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Oversee field meetings with trade partners, staff, and sales.
• Oversee performance against targets and budgets.
• Collaborate with inspectors for timely approvals.
