Job summary

Lennar, a leading homebuilder in the United States, is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the construction of homes in assigned communities. You will ensure quality control, manage costs, and adhere to schedules, with twice-daily home walks to monitor progress and profitability.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred) and residential construction management experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; college degree preferred, or 3–5 years' home building/construction experience.
• Experience in residential construction management.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Build Pro, Procore, and related construction management software.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record; valid auto insurance.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities from conception to move-in, manage sites, scheduling, and trade partners to meet timelines and scopes.
• Supervise all construction activities on homes from start to finish, including pre-construction and final meetings.
• Negotiate inspector/trade partner issues to support budget adherence and CIP improvements.
• Manage daily trade partner communications and invoice approvals in Build Pro.
• Provide trade partner feedback to Lead Construction Manager on timeliness and quality.
• Ensure site safety and adherence to building codes; maintain safety logs and regulatory compliance.
• Perform Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan inspections and maintain required records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
