Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Sr Construction Manager to lead residential construction across assigned communities. You will supervise managers, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with trade partners, conducting site meetings, and ensuring compliance with city and state regulations. Strong leadership and blueprint literacy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in residential construction project management.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and document management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Excellent follow-up, written and verbal communication, and time management.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Valid auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily trade partner activities and coordinate with project schedules.
• Plan construction activities from start to finish, including pre-con meetings.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain site safety logs and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Record and document SWPPP inspections and related records.
• Use Build Pro for trade partner notification and invoice approval.
• Mentor and train Assistant Construction Managers and Construction Managers.
• Conduct field meetings with partners, staff, and sales teams.
• Monitor performance against budgets and company policies.
• Coordinate approvals with municipality inspectors.
