Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 project. You will develop and optimize rendering systems using Unreal Engine 5 to deliver high-fidelity visuals for a large, open-world experience.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and artists to push runtime performance while exploring advanced techniques like ray tracing and Nanite, striving for cinematic quality across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in game rendering or related fields.
• Experience on AAA console titles and Unreal Engine.
• Strong C++ skills and deep graphics programming knowledge.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 or custom engines is required.
• Knowledge of modern rendering techniques and CPU/GPU architectures.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing graphics systems for improved performance and memory utilization.
• Work closely with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for a large-scale, open-world environment.
• Help art teams bring diverse characters and cyberpunk visuals to life with optimized runtime fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory utilization across CPU and GPU.
