CD PROJEKT RED is hiring a Senior Rendering Engineer in the United States to work on Cyberpunk 2 using Unreal Engine 5. You will develop and optimize rendering systems for an expansive open-world game, collaborating with engineers and artists to push visual fidelity.

This role emphasizes low-level performance, memory optimization, and cross-team coordination to deliver cinematic visuals and efficient runtime execution across CPU and GPU.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Experience on AAA console titles, especially with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with in-depth graphics programming knowledge.
• Proficient with Unreal Engine 5 or an in-house engine.
• Extensive knowledge of modern rendering techniques and CPU/GPU architectures.
• Strong multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan, etc.).
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix, etc.).
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to build new rendering solutions for a large open-world environment.
• Help art teams render vast characters and environments with high visual fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage on CPU and GPU.
