Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 team. You will develop and optimize rendering systems using Unreal Engine 5 to empower designers and artists to deliver visually stunning open-world experiences.

Responsibilities include maintaining graphics pipelines, collaborating with engineers and content teams, and pushing runtime performance for both CPU and GPU. The role requires strong C++ skills and in-depth knowledge of modern rendering techniques.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with AAA console titles and Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with graphics programming expertise.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 or similar engines.
• Extensive rendering and CPU/GPU architecture knowledge.
• Strong multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with DirectX12, Vulkan or similar APIs.
• Experience with graphics debuggers (RenderDoc, Pix, etc.).
• Ability to profile and optimize low-level performance.
• Strong communication, ownership, and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance.
• Collaborate across teams to develop new rendering solutions for a large-scale open world.
• Help art teams render diverse characters and a cyberpunk world with high fidelity.
