Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED in the United States is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 project. You will develop and optimize rendering systems using Unreal Engine 5 to help designers push visual fidelity in an open-world setting.

You will collaborate with engineers and artists, profile and tune performance on CPU and GPU, and tackle memory challenges while shipping features for a AAA console/PC title.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with AAA titles and Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with graphics programming.
• Unreal Engine 5 or in-house engine experience.
• Knowledge of modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture.
• Extensive multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan).
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix).
• Ability to profile and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for large-scale open-world environments.
• Help art teams bring diverse characters and a vibrant cyberpunk world to life with rendering expertise.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU.
