Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to develop and optimize rendering solutions for Cyberpunk 2 using Unreal Engine 5. You will work with engineers and artists to push runtime fidelity, with responsibilities spanning maintenance, new rendering techniques, and performance optimization for large open-world environments.

The role requires extensive C++ and graphics programming knowledge, Unreal Engine 5 experience, and a proactive approach to collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Experience on AAA console titles, especially with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with graphics programming focus.
• Proficient with Unreal Engine 5 or in-house engine.
• Strong knowledge of modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture.
• Extensive multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan).
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix).
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.
• Strong communication, ownership, and proactive teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing graphics systems for performance and memory efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to create new rendering solutions for large-scale open worlds.
• Help art teams bring characters and environments to life with high visual fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU.
