Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 team. You will develop rendering solutions and optimizations using Unreal Engine 5, collaborating with engineers and artists to push visual fidelity on a large open world.

Responsibilities include maintaining graphics systems, optimizing CPU/GPU performance, and contributing to cutting-edge rendering tech for a next-generation title. The role supports hybrid/in-office or fully remote work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in rendering
• Experience on AAA console titles, especially with Unreal Engine
• Fluent in C++ with deep graphics programming experience
• Professional knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 or equivalent engine
• Extensive knowledge of modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture
• Comprehensive multithreaded programming experience
• Experience with one or more low-level graphics API (DirectX12, Vulkan, etc.)
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix, etc.)
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level
• Strong communication, ownership, and proactive teamwork

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory efficiency
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to create rendering solutions for a large-scale open world
• Help art teams bring characters and a cyberpunk world to life with advanced rendering
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU
