Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the team working on Cyberpunk 2. You will help develop rendering solutions using Unreal Engine 5 to achieve cutting-edge visual fidelity in a large-scale open-world game.

Responsibilities include maintaining graphics systems, collaborating with engineers and content teams, and optimizing CPU/GPU performance while pushing the boundaries of runtime rendering. Hybrid/office or remote work is available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in graphics rendering.
• AAA console titles experience, especially with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with in-depth graphics programming knowledge.
• Proficient with Unreal Engine 5 or equivalent engine.
• Strong understanding of modern rendering techniques and CPU/GPU architecture.
• Multithreaded programming expertise and profiling skills.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan, etc.).
• Familiar with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix, etc.).
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.
• Strong communication, ownership mindset, and proactive teamwork.

• Maintain, debug, and improve graphics systems for performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams on rendering solutions for large open worlds.
• Help art teams bring characters and cyberpunk visuals to life with rendering expertise.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage on CPU and GPU.
