Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 team. You will develop and optimize rendering solutions in Unreal Engine 5, collaborating with engineers and artists to achieve high visual fidelity for an open-world cyberpunk setting.

You will work on performance tuning, debugging, and feature development to push runtime graphics. A strong background in C++ and rendering tech is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in the industry.
• AAA console titles experience with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with graphics programming expertise.
• Unreal Engine 5 or in-house engine experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern rendering techniques and CPU/GPU architecture.
• Multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan).
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix).
• Ability to profile and optimize low-level performance.
• Strong communication, ownership and team support mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams on rendering for large open-world environments.
• Help art teams bring characters and cyberpunk world to life with rendering expertise.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage on CPU and GPU.
