CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the team working on Cyberpunk 2, employing Unreal Engine 5 to define the future of visual fidelity. You will render, optimize, and collaborate with engineers and artists to deliver a large-scale open-world experience.

The role requires strong C++ graphics expertise, experience with Unreal Engine 5 and low-level APIs, and a proactive attitude. This position supports hybrid, in-office or remote work within the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience
• Experience with AAA console titles and Unreal Engine
• Fluent in C++ with graphics programming experience
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 or equivalent in-house engine
• Extensive knowledge of modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture
• Multithreaded programming experience
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan)
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix)
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level
• Strong communication, ownership and proactive teamwork

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory improvements
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for a large-scale open-world environment
• Help art teams bring characters and a cyberpunk world to life with advanced rendering
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU
