Job summary

CopperPoint Insurance Companies is seeking a Senior, Indemnity Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster for a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have strong Arizona jurisdiction knowledge and at least 3 years of workers’ compensation claims experience, with preferred licensure in additional states.

Responsibilities include analyzing indemnity claims, ensuring timely benefit payments, and establishing reserves while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred for candidate
• Minimum 3 years' experience handling workers’ compensation claims
• Arizona jurisdiction knowledge required
• Experience/licensure in MO, CO, UT, KS, NM, NV or TX preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze and investigate indemnity claims to determine compensability under workers’ compensation laws
• Adjudicate claims to ensure timely payment of indemnity and medical benefits
• Develop action plans and reserves for indemnity claims
• Maintain cost drivers and data for NCCI and Medicare reporting
• Communicate proactively with injured workers, policyholders, brokers, and attorneys
• Negotiate settlements and testify at hearings when necessary
