Job summary

CopperPoint Insurance Companies is seeking a fully remote Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster, Indemnity, with required Arizona jurisdiction knowledge. The role supports injury claims across multiple states and emphasizes proactive cost-effective claims management.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in workers’ compensation, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to negotiate settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (B.S./B.A.) in business administration, communications, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience handling/adjusting workers’ compensation claims.
• Arizona workers’ compensation claims management experience is required.
• Experience/licensure in MO, CO, UT, KS, NM, NV, OK and/or TX highly preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and investigate indemnity claims to determine compensability by interpreting laws and regulations.
• Adjudicate claims to ensure timely payment of indemnity and medical benefits.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with injured workers, policyholders, brokers and agents.
• Document communications and claim management activities.
• Develop, maintain and adhere to action plans and reserves on indemnity claims.
• Establish cost drivers and data elements for accurate NCCI and Medicare reporting.
• Proactively manage claims in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify settlement opportunities and negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys.
